New President Announced for the Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association

The Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association is pleased to announce that Sarah Hirst, FCIP, CRM, was inaugurated as the association’s 34th president.

Hirst assumed the role from outgoing president, Monica Kuzyk, during the CIAA Annual General Meeting held August 29, 2018 in Toronto, Ontario.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the CIAA membership for their confidence and I look forward to continuing to advance the key strategic initiatives necessary for CIAA’s continued relevance and stature in today’s marketplace.”  Hirst said during the annual general meeting.

“Sarah follows in the footsteps of her Grandfather, F. Michael Hirst, CIAA National President, 1982/83 and under her capable leadership the association will continue its culture of fostering cooperation and collaboration in fulfilling the changing needs of the adjusting community”, said Patricia Battle, Executive Director.

Hirst began her insurance career in 2000 and today she is District Manager, ClaimsPro, Edmonton, Alberta.

CIAA is the national voice of Independent Adjusters in Canada, providing leadership through advocacy, education and recognized professional standards.
