In June, the Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association/Canadian Insurance Claims Mangers Association (CIAA/CICMA) held their annual joint conference at White Point Beach Resort. As part of their yearly conference, members of CIAA/CICMA make a donation to a worthwhile charity. This past year they lost a great supporter and friend of the event, Michael Dunphy, QC. To honor his memory, the CIAA/CICMA collectively raised $10,000 to donate to KidSport Nova Scotia, an organization near and dear to him.
