New President Announced for the Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association.
The Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association (CIAA) representing over 1,800 Independent Adjusters across Canada is pleased to announce that Michael Connolly, BA, CFEI, CIP was inaugurated as the association’s 40th National President.
Connolly assumed the role from outgoing president, Maria Joshua, during the CIAA Annual General Meeting held October 29, 2024 in Toronto, Ontario.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the CIAA membership for their confidence and the dedicated Executive who willingly share their talents and time in service to our membership. I look forward to working with them this coming year to continue to execute on value to the membership, advancing key strategic initiatives and fostering our strong relationships within the P&C industry”, Connolly said during the annual general meeting.
“Mike has been an active member of CIAA for many years and his dedication to the advancement and promotion of the Independent Loss Adjusting profession will serve the membership well in the coming year. He brings a broad perspective on the multifaceted property and casualty industry and recognizes the importance of fostering cooperation and collaboration in the highest regard. Under his capable leadership the association looks forward to delivering on the changing needs of the Independent Adjusting community” , said Patricia Battle, Executive Director.
With 25 years in the insurance industry, Connolly is currently the Vice President, Atlantic Canada, ClaimsPro, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
